A Very Victorian
Writing Tour

Experience the Best of Victoria with a Literary Local Guide!
3 - 4 writing prompts inspired by the history, nature & architecture of Victoria
writing tips presented by Giller-Prize nominated author & writing coach Claire Mulligan
an opportunity to slow down, reflect and find words to share your story
Don’t just walk on by! Take the opportunity to connect to the places and people unique to Victoria using writing tools taught during the tour. Spice up your blog, bring your story to life or expand your creative repertoire. Suitable whether you haven’t written a word or have written thousands.
The tour starts at Thunderbird Park and ends at Centennial Fountain. 3 or 4 locations will be visited - at each stop you can expect to learn something about the place and the people who inhabited it, be taught a writing technique, and given time to reflect, write and share. Expect 2 - 2.5 hrs, about 1km total at a relaxed walking pace.
Our walking tours accommodate wheelchairs and strollers, but detours may be required due to the historical nature of some locations.
Small Groups!
Max 10 adults means our tours feel like private tours - an opportunity to connect and share with us and your fellow travelers.
Private Group Tours are available.
